I work as a treatment counselor in a residential program for abused and neglected youth, meaning my day is generally filled by the daily crises that arise from life threatening issues to when there is no more Captain Crunch for breakfast. Reading the situation and dealing quickly is the name of the game. A B.A. in Psychology has gotten me into the world of social work, but starting a Masters Program in the next few years will hopefully bring a little more direction to that path. Sexual and domestic violence issues (concerning both victims and perpetrators) are some of the ones I’m most passionate about. My resume, however, has covered everything from concert security guard to electoral judge to community organizer.

My spare time generally gets filled with singing, skiing, playing old-school video games, being outside, reading and trying to fix things around the house that I’m not quite sure how to.
